NBC News — Syrians continue to pour across the border with Turkey, fleeing the violence in their country. Turkish officials are providing the refugees food, clean water, medicine and other aid. Many people have set up makeshift camps in the border area inside Syria, where they don't have easy access to food and other supplies.
Some eight thousand Syrians, mainly from the northwest of the country have already crossed the border and are living in Turkish refugee camps. Turkish police are guarding the camps.
