NBC News — More than three months have passed since the massive earthquake and tsunami struck Japan's northeastern region. For many, the grief and hardship continues. Families continue to search the rubble for any signs of loved ones.
Officials estimate more than ten thousand people were killed in massive march earthquake and tsunami. Large parts of the country still look like war zones and tens of thousands are still living in temporary shelters.
