BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) —
Sunday was Father's day, and at Boutins, Baton Rouge dads got treated to some cajun cooking and good times with friends and family
A lot of the fathers NBC33 talked to said there's much more to being a dad than fixing things: they said it's about being there for their families.
Samuel Carter was one of those dads, and he had great advice for those who haven't called their dads today.
"They need to just tell em they love em, and hug em, and spend time with them... The father's an important role in raising a kid, and every kid should have a father," said Carter.
