NBC NEWS and CTV — Violence erupted on the streets of Vancouver Wednesday night after the Canucks lost Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to the Boston Bruins.
Canadian broadcaster CTV reports the violence started when a group of fans in the heart of the city tied a stuffed bear to a pole and set it on fire.
It wasn't long before fights broke out and fans flipped over vehicles. The crowd spread out across the city's core and set fires, overturned even more cars and smashed windows.
