WALKER, La (NBC33) – The Pothole Patrol makes its way to Livingston Parish.

Park Street is a small street with a big pothole problem. Residents who live on the street say that the potholes have gotten so bad that sometimes they have to swerve sharply to avoid them. Ryan Drake, who has lived on the street for several years, says the potholes seem to be getting larger every year, “They have gotten worser. I have been here three years almost. They have gotten worse since the last year since all of the cold we had.”

Ivey Howze has lived in Walker for more than half a century. He says the city usually does an excellent job in maintaining the roads in his city. He believes there is a reason why there are still road issues on Park Street, “There is no point to fixing the street if we’re gonna tear it up and put a water line down.” He says that there are three residents on the street who have not given the city consent to do construction on the road in order to build a water line.

If you have pothole problem where you live or work make sure to email Brix Fowler at nbc33tv.com and let him know.
