Lafayette - Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum made a campaign stop in Lafayette Tuesday night. It all happened at the Lafayette Hilton. This after city parish president named Santorum an honorary Cajun. Santorum says he's hoping for a one on one battle with Mitt Romney in Louisiana. The presidential hopeful also celebrated his wins in Alabama and Mississippi primaries.

East Baton Rouge - Big time traffic tie ups today at the ten one ten split, after a three vehicle wreck just before one Wednesday afternoon. Take a look, you can see police responding. We're told the accident involved three vehicles, and the crash caused east bound delays all the way across the Mississippi River. Crews were able to get lanes reopened pretty quickly. No word on the extent of injuries, but EMS workers tell us, someone was trapped in one of the cars.

Lafayette - Residents in the town of Carencro continue to recover from flooding. As the water goes down, people are getting a clearer picture of the damage they're dealing with. People we've talked with say, they've definitely seen more rain, but never this much flooding. They're hoping Lafayette parish and state officials will help them improve drainage to prevent flooding in the future.

That's a look at what's happening - parish by parish.
