That is the kind of stories I've all over the parish. Stories of how the sheriff's office simply refused to investigate an incident that was important to a resident. I find that the sheriff's office is very afraid of media coverage. I have been told stories of coverups. It doesn't suprise me at all that these people are not getting the attention they deserve. I am willing to bet that the deputy took photographs and wrote a short report that will be filed away and forgotten.
