BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) — Four military men received the special recognition of being inducted into the Louisiana Veterans Hall of Honor.

Those honored included two Army veterans, a Marine and an Air Force wing commander. The keynote speaker at the event was Secretary of State Tom Schedler. He says it's important to remember all those who have sacrificed so that we can be free.

"I want to absolutely thank  every veteran that is here. No matter if you were in World War Two or Korea or Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan."
