FLORIDA (NBC) — A Florida college student is happy to be back on the ground after an incredible traffic accident.

18-year-old Jesse Sullivan ended up perched on a power pole's guy-wires after losing control of his truck Tuesday.

The truck was left hanging for nearly 45 minutes as emergency crews worked to secure downed power lines.

Sullivan was forced to wait inside the vehicle.

He was not injured in the crash.
