Today, students reacted to the news of four LSU fans that were attacked while leaving the parking lot at the WVU vs. LSU game in Morgantown, West Virginia. Students said it may make them more hesitant to travel to support the team at future games.

"It does make me a little more hesitant going to see them, because I know, around here, stuff like that happens, but not to that extent, but you feel a little better at home," Andrew Stolzle, LSU student, said.

Other’s believe the attack was due to poor sportsmanship.

"I think it's ridiculous, they're just upset, obviously upset over the loss, and they just blew it way out of proportion," Nathan Ryan, LSU student, said.

But the resounding statement shared by all is that this sort of violent display should never happen, no matter the location.

"It's kind of sad that even after a football game they have to resort to violence and stuff, that's not necessary,” Matthew Trocquet, LSU student, said. “If you end up losing, and LSU fans give you problems, you might as well just move on and take it like a man."

Yinz guys must not be familiar with WVU and their students. This is how they are. I'm a Pitt fan and I think it was a good decision that the SEC did not accept WVU. They will only bring you down. They're a bunch a hillbillies.
