River Road African American Museum honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

DONALDSONVILLE, LA. (NBC33) —
The River Road African American Museum held its annual Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration.
The museum hopes to give guest an idea of the progress African American's have made since slavery. This year's theme was "a quest for peace and justice."
students from the Donaldsonville High School's African American history class performed songs and reflected on Martin Luther King Jr's legacy.
