As news of the tragic death of little Jori Lirette spreads, you can't help but wonder, why?

Jamie Tindel knows the joy and pain of raising a special needs child. Her youngest son Alex has cerebral palsy.

“I can't imagine… there's nothing on earth in my mind that could warrant an act like this. Nothing,” stated Tindel. “(It’s) just terribly heartbreaking. I think that, whether you have a child with a disability or not, you can relate to that mom.”

Jamie says caring for Alex can seem overwhelming at times.

“It's tough, but you live it, and God gives you just enough rest or sends that person in your life that just helps you in that moment.”

She says her family wouldn't be complete without him.

Alex has CP and is G-tube fed; Alex is funny and bright, all the things you heard about Jori.
