LSU students find creative way to deal with cabin fever
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Slow-moving Hurricane Isaac caused some serious cases of cabin fever across south Louisiana. Thankfully, the damage to Baton Rouge was minimal, but the results of the boredom seemed to be productive. Or maybe we should say, creative.
LSU freshman Nichole Wierschem submitted a video to NBC33 News that caught our attention. Wierschem, along three other ladies occupying the same dorm, found an interesting way to pass the time - they produced a music video! They sing along to Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe!”
Weirschem says they decided to make the video to keep entertained, but decided to pass it along as a way to hopefully lift the spirits of those who are still dealing with the impacts of Hurricane Isaac.
She concludes, “Praying for everyone and a quick recovery!”
