Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Students spent their day finding hotel rooms on the internet, or even tickets to the game.
They say it's a big deal for them to be in the city when the Tigers win the BCS trophy.
Many said they'll pay whatever price they need to to watch the Tigers go all the way.
"We kinda knew they were gonna go, so my dad already looked up hotels and everything to see what he could get, so it's been known that they were gonna go," said Roni Carver, an LSU Sophmore.
"It'd probably be the best night of my life to be honest with you," said Josh Manriquez, an LSU Junior.
If you want tickets for the game in New Orleans, get ready to pay big bucks for them.
We did a quick search on StubHub; tickets there range from more than $1,300 to $10,000!
Meanwhile, tickets are available on Craigslist for $2,700 and eBay for $4,100.
