Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) —
One LSU class took action today near campus to help keep students safe through a flash mob.
A LSU Communication Study class gathered together, dressed in white, marched up and down East Boyd near Tigerland carrying signs. The reason for the flash mob: getting better side walks and bike paths in that area.
Flash mob participant Brandy Thomas said, " We need a safe place where we can be. We need a safe side walk area. We need a sidewalk area for bikes as well. You never know a car could be distracted for a a second and end up hitting someone."
On October 13 two people were hit by a car on East Boyd around one in the morning sending them to the hospital.
