Tiger fans have already started to fire up the grill and put on their purple and gold for the first SEC game of the 2013 season.

"Just like any other LSU fan, we sit out here and drink beer, hoot and holler and have a blast," explained Cody Thomas, an LSU fan.

With less than 24 hours until kick-off and heavy rains in the forecast, Tiger fans have already said a little rain won't keep them from flooding the stadium.

“They say it's going to rain, it never rains in Death Valley. Are you kidding me," queried Thomas.

“It never rains in tiger stadium, right," added Martin Grae, another LSU fan.

And even though tiger fans aren't scared of a little rain, LSU officials do have a plan in place for any severe weather.

"If it's prior to the game than the people are obviously not going to be allowed in to the stadium at that point and in to the stands. If it is during the game, and we do have those type of situations, again we do have plans in place to move people out of the open areas of the stadium," explained Capt. Corey LaLonde of the LSU Police Department.

And while fans are cheering on their Tigers, police do have a few words of advice to keep them safe.

“If they do come across that and they're out in those locations, to try and find the safest possible location they can go to. Possibly go to their vehicle or any other kind of structure that would put them out of those elements," said LaLonde.

Tiger fans say rain or shine, it’s SEC football time.

"Of course LSU is going to win. I don't know by how much or what not, but when you start playing the sec it doesn't matter how good anyone is, it's always a good game," said Andrew Simon, an LSU student.

Kick-off is at 6:45 on Saturday.
