U.S. Senator David Vitter met with students from Martin Luther King Christian Academy in Baton Rouge this week in the Hart Senate Office Building. The students were visiting Washington for Inauguration Day on Monday.

“I always enjoy getting to meet Louisianians when they visit our nation’s capital, and I’m particularly excited that these students were able to come for Inauguration Day,” Vitter said. “Visiting D.C. is always a great way to learn about our government, but inauguration is a particularly historic opportunity.”

School groups and other organizations are encouraged to contact Sen. Vitter’s office whenever they visit Washington, D.C. regarding tours of the U.S. Capitol and other information. For any questions, visit: www.vitter.senate.gov.
