"The violence it needs to stop, that is ridiculous and I have kids of my own."

It was a wild fight, caught on camera in the Brookstown neighborhood of Baton Rouge. It’s a facebook video of an after school fight between dozens of teens and even young kids. Those kids and possibly even parents could be in some trouble with the law.

We can't tell you why the fight started or even when exactly it took place but that's what Baton Rouge police are working to find out right now.

"Oh my god that’s ridiculous."

The video is of dozens of kids ripping each others hair out, punching, and pulling.

"Where are the parents at?"

"I can’t believe they are letting them do this. They should have broken it up."

But these parents didn't break up the fight at BREC's Howell Park.

The video was posted on Red Stick Now's facebook and in hours it had hundreds of comments and shares.

"I am surprised."

Now, Baton Rouge Police are taking notice.

"We’re going to find out if there were some adults that were participating,” said Cpl. L’Jean Mckneely Jr. with BRPD. “Not fighting itself but recording it, egging it on, just standing by while it was happening without trying to stop it."

Young people say fights like this are avoidable, but they do happen.

"I think its social media. I honestly believe its social media,” said a local teen.

But parents say their main concern is the fact that no one stepped in?

"You know kids have to learn and it starts from home and if you have a child telling them to get them and they are all in that, that's foolishness," said a Baton Rouge parent.

Even teen’s say this fight is unacceptable, but obviously not in their families.

“It was probably just the way they were raised,” said Kevin Grayer.

So as school lets out and boredom sets in, what happens then?

"The solution would be get your kids involved in something,” said Princess Paul. “There is other stuff that can be going on besides fighting. There is more to life than that."

Police just received this video Thursday and the investigation just began. They don’t know who was involved but they're working to find out.
