Hundreds of people gathered in Watson Tuesday night to remember the life of Tyler Myers.

Myers, 6, died Monday night when he was hit by a car in a neighbor's driveway. The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office says Myers was playing with his scooter, when the man turned into his driveway around 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, family, friends, and classmates gathered at Live Oak Ballpark, filling an entire parking lot. Each person held a candle in honor of Tyler's life.

Friends described him as an energetic, happy person. Classmates mentioned that he would dance in school, and that he loved playing baseball and riding on ATVs.

The Sheriff's office says the driver of the car is not likely to be charged, pending results of a blood test.

A fund has been set up in Tyler's name to benefit his family. Donations can be made at any Chase Bank branch.
