Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — One local girl raised awareness about cancer in a unique way, as Madison Scullin shaved her head today in front of her classmates.

Her mother died of a brain tumor when Madison was three years old. She wanted to do something to help raise money and awareness of cancer.

Although her mother couldn't be with her today, she knows mom would be pleased.
