One Maringouin man's family is honoring his last wishes to be buried in a casket covered with the logo of his favorite beverage, Budweiser Beer.

Family and friends are saying goodbye to 71 year-old Leon Wesley as he lay in his Budweiser casket Friday. Those who know him best say it was his final wish, and they were more than happy to honor and celebrate it.

Wesley's sister Jackie said the family wasn't surprised at all when her brother asked to be remembered alongside his beer of choice. And while she knows it may seem a little strange to outsiders, she is sure her brother Leon is smiling down on the celebration of his life.

"He was a hard working man, he loved his family, loved his wife and he just loved having a great time. He didn't want us to be sad, he wanted us to be happy. He always said 'don't be sad, be happy, smile, and have a good time,'" Jackie Wesley said.

Representatives from Budweiser contacted Leon's family and will be present at his funeral Saturday, handing out his beverage of choice, Budweiser.
