They're still having a ball down at the United States Bowling Congress. Proving you're never too old to roll, Bill Lillard was honored today.

Lillard made his debut at the USBC in 1948. He is 84 and participating in his 65th consecutive USBC Open Championship.

Though his game may have been better a few years back, Lillard says bowling will always be his favorite sport

"What you need, I had in those days - good balance, good timing,” stated Lillard. “I wasn't particularly athletic, but I just loved bowling and I did it a lot. And anything you do a lot, you get better at. And then, there's the hill that you start going down, and I'm going down that hill right now."

Lillard went on to say that he started his bowling career rolling an 82 in his teens and is working his way back to that score now.

The USBC continues for several months and is open for the public to come and watch.
