NBC NEWS — An apple tree in Germany has been decorated with 10,000 eggs ahead of Easter.
The tree decoration is a 50 year old tradition for Volker Kraft, 76, and his family.
The tree has turned into a cottage industry for the family. Visitors can purchase decorated Easter eggs for around $7 as well as postcards and DVDs.
The family says they have no plans to change the magic figure of 10,000 eggs.
