After losing a whopping 199 pounds, Jeremy Britt, 23, is officially "the biggest loser!"

The $250-thousand grand prize winner started the competition weighing in at 389-pounds. The nearly 200 pound loss represents 51.16 percent of his body weight.

"I did, a little over half my size actually. It's amazing,” Britt said on The Today Show. “I have a new me, basically. It's like I am just getting started living my life. It's truly amazing."

"I lost my voice screaming last night I was so excited,” he continued. “There's no one I wanted to beat more than my sister, to be honest."

Jeremy did beat his sister, Conda, and former professional wrestler, Kim Nielsen.

The at home winner is Mike Messina. He lost 160 pounds and won $100-thousand.

NBC33 News is currently airing its own version of the hit show. It’s called Losing it in Louisiana. Producer Kris Cusanza and a group of enthusiastic contestants workout each week to gain their own prize. Get caught up on past segments by clicking here.
