NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A Chesterfield cancer patient is robbed at gunpoint of both his money and pain medications. It happened in his own home in the Huntwood Apartments.
"I was scared. I didn't really know what to do," said Herbert Driscoll. "I'm sitting here with a gun pointed to my face."
Driscoll says he was watching television when the suspects walked inside his home. He says he often leaves the door unlocked.
"The guy kept saying I'm sorry," recalls Driscoll. "I have to do this. I apologize."
Herbert is battling stage 4 cancer.
"I have it in my lungs, my liver, and my throat," said Driscoll.
