Here's the original article from NBC33 News.

WVLA (BATON ROUGE) - Right now, emergency crews are working to clean up a flipped box truck on Interstate 10. I-10 East at the 10/12 split is closed as a result of the flipped truck which is carrying flammable chemicals.

Right now - officials say, there's no threat to the public, but they've closed a segment of I-10 East as a precaution.

Officials with the Baton Rouge Fire Department tell NBC33 News this segment of I-10 E will be closed for several hours as crews attempt to get the truck back upright. Emergency responders aren't sure if they'll have to unload the truck before getting it flipped back over.

We'll have updates as they become available. An NBC33 News Crew is on scene getting the latest information.
