LABADIEVILLE, La. (AP) - Assumption Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested two men in the theft of $2,250 worth of acetylene torch equipment and other items reported stolen from a local farmer.
Deputies recovered the items last week after searching the home
of Jayson Duet in Labadieville (LAH'-buh-dee-vil), and, with the help of Lafourche sheriff's deputies, at his Thibodaux storage unit.
Deputies say the torch and hoses were found at Duet's house. An
oxygen bottle, acetylene bottle, air conditioner and outboard motor were found in Thibodaux.
Duet's alleged accomplice, 27-year-old Dusty Falcon of Napoleonville, was arrested Monday and booked on simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and simple burglary.
