Two alarm fire burns The Storage Center

A massive fire burned The Storage Center on Old Hammond
The flames started around 7:30 Wednesday night on Old Hammond Highway. The fire started inside one of the units and spread to several others before help arrived.
Crews had trouble reaching the flames, because several of the facilities were locked.
Damage is estimated at 750 thousand dollars. Three firefighters had to be treated for heat exhaustion.
