BATON ROUGE, LA (MAYOR'S OFFICE) - Filming for the motion picture, “Carjacked,” will require several road closures in the downtown area near the Main Street ramp onto Interstate 110 Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, the Main Street entrance ramp onto northbound I-110 will close to traffic in order the film scenes for the movie. The filming will also close the stretch of Main Street that runs underneath I-110 between 9th and 10th Streets, along with the portions of 9th and 10th streets between Main and Laurel streets. The closures are slated to continue until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The movie is an action thriller, starring Maria Bello and Stephen Dorff, based on the story of a mother and son who are carjacked by a bank robber.
