Jurors in the William Jefferson fraud trial heard about the $90,000 dollars found in the former Congressman's freezer.
Federal agents discovered the cash in August of 2005. It was wrapped in $10,000 dollar increments and hidden in boxes of Pillsbury pie crust and Boca burgers.
Prosecutors alleged that the former New Orleans Congressman received bribes to use his influence to broker deals in Africa. His lawyers argue its not illegal for Jefferson to receive payment as a private business consultant.
