If you've been waiting for Apple's new release, it's finally here. People camped out all night and were lined up all morning to get the brand new iPhone.

"We had folks outside our store since 3 a.m. this morning,” said Best Buy Manager, George Hart. “We’re completely sold out so far."

"We were here at 5 a.m. and they were waiting at 5, so we had people camped out overnight. It is crazy," said Verizon Manager, Dan Ferrante.

The anticipation built up all week. People couldn't wait to get their hands on the newest gadget from Apple, the iPhone 5S and 5C. However, some say, who has time for that?

"If they have the time more power to them," noted Eric Zhou.

He stepped into the Verizon store, phone in hand. After two years he says he was ready for something new.

“It was time for an upgrade and with all the apple hype it's always fun to get new devices."

What makes this new iPhone stand out?

One of the main features that is really attracting people to the phone is the touch id. You can set it up on the screen where you use your fingerprint to unlock it. But it’s not just the new operating system gaining attention, Best Buy manager George Hart says it's all about the variety.

“The variety of colors like the gold, silver the pink the blue. So that’s the biggest excitement about the phone," noted Hart.

“I think gold and silver were too flashy for me so I keep it the same," said Zhou.

The new technology is enough to make even non iPhone users decide to make the switch.

"Basically I was done with droid and this is the best thing in my opinion so," said Baton Rouge-native, Corrin Otillio.

If you're on a budget, the iPhone 5c is priced at 99 dollars. That’s $100 less than the 5s and available in five colors.
