Tangipahoa deputies arrest 2 men for armed robbery at Jeff’s Grocery

Tangipahoa deputies arrested two Hammond men for an armed robbery that occurred in the parking lot of Jeff's Grocery on West Club Deluxe Road on Friday, Feb. 14.

According to police reports, 25-year-old Dorin Sellers, and 26-year-old Kevin Mullens, were taken into custody around 1:30 a.m. for allegedly robbing two people at gunpoint in the parking lot of Jeff's Grocery Store.

Sellers was arrested on site. Mullens fled the scene, but was later found after crashing his vehicle on Old Baton Rouge Highway.

Mullens was charged with resisting an officer by force, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and principle to a felony.

Sellers was charged with armed robbery with a gun, resisting an officer by force, aggravated second degree robbery, and a convicted felon in possession of a fire arm.
