Residents in a Baker community claim a pack of wild dogs has been terrorizing their neighborhood.
One family on Comite Drive says about seven mixed breed dogs attacked their animals this week.
Elizabeth Miglietta says the dogs chased and surrounded one of her horses and a day later, ripped through her daughter’s chicken coop, killing several of their prized chickens.
The family believes the dogs live in the woods behind their home, and fear if something isn’t done soon one of their neighbors might get hurt.
"I am worried about the kids the older people that cant fend off something like that” says Miglietta.
East Baton Rouge Animal Control says they have set up traps in the area to hopefully catch these dogs.
