BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) -- Police say sixteen-year-old Austin Holcomb has been missing since Monday, January 24.

He’s a student at McKinley High school where he's a straight 'A' student in the gifted program.

At this time police do not believe there's any connection between this case and the missing teen Maranda Darcey, who was located yesterday. The two do attend the same school, but didn’t seem to know each other.

Austin is 5’6” tall, around 125 pounds. He has light brown hair and brown eyes.

His family tells us he was last seen around 3 p.m. last Monday near the intersection of Aster and Nicholson drive.

If you know where Austin is located or have any information, call the Baton Rouge police at (225) 389-2000.
