State police teach safety tips to residents

State police hosted a safety forum with residents.

Troopers, along with several law enforcement agencies, came together for the 2nd Annual Troop Day.

Parents, as well as kids, learned everything from car seat safety to valuable fire prevention information.

State police said, while safety is important, the event also opened up lines of communication between residents and police.
