BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA) St. George firefighters are donning a new look this week---instead of the traditional red and black, they'll be wearing pink!
That's because entire department is "going pink" in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
St. George firefighters are calling on all first-responders to wear the symbolic color during the last week of October.
In addition the SGFD is selling pink shirts with their logo on it. The shirts are $15 each and all proceeds will go to Woman's Hospital to help fund local breast cancer research, treatment and awareness efforts.
You can place a shirt order with St. George administrators at 225-454-6550.
