Sheriff's office seeking female armed robber

This is an NBC33 News Update: Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Officers have arrested Christie Ann Theriot. She has been charged with one count Armed Robbery, 2 counts Issuing Worthless Checks (Bench Warrants), and one count Speeding (Bench Warrant). She is currently being held in the Livingston Parish Detention Center in lieu of a $136,000.00 bond.
Original Story: DENHAM SPRINGS, La (WVLA) – A woman was caught on camera holding up a store in Denham Springs for several hundred dollars in cash. Not only was the entire incident caught on camera, but when she fled the scene, she wrecked and abandoned her car.
Officials say Christie Ann Theriot, 36, walked in to the Doos II Seafood Market located off Hwy 16 in Denham Springs and demanded cash while holding a gun at the clerk.
Theriot was identified through the surveillance footage, as well as the car she wrecked while fleeing from the crime, a 1999 four door Acura sedan.
Sheriff’s Deputies are currently seeking to find Theriot, who is described as 5’6” weighing 170 lbs with light colored hair and blue eyes. She was last seen one and a half miles from the store, where she abandoned her busted car.
