Severe weather causes major damage

BATON ROUGE, La (NBC 33)- The severe weather hit Baton Rouge and caused damage all around the Capital City.

Some of the damage included included downed power lines and a tree that crushed an LSU student’s apartment, while she was inside of it. The student was unharmed. Additionally, near the corner of Highland Road and Staring Lane, a tree crushed a car and left traffic backed up. Another downed tree in the middle of the street near Stumburg and Coursey also had road crews working hard to clean up athe mess.
