WINNFIELD, La (KALB) -- Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for an escaped inmate, which marks the second escape at the jail since August.

Malcolm Rodney Barton, 21, escaped from the Winn Parish Jail a little after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2. According to Sheriff Bodie Little, Barton, also known as Rodney Northcut, ran from a jailer and police officer. Once outside, he jumped inside a blue truck that appeared to be waiting for him and drove off.

Barton was in jail for a D.W.I. and driving under suspension.
