"Save the Dream" rally held at State Capitol

BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) - Baton Rouge residents gathered on the steps of the State Capitol to voice their concerns about issues occuring in Wisconsin.
The "Save the Dream" rally occured on Feb.26, and was put on by the website MoveOn.org. The organization held similar rallies in all 50 states on the same day.
Everyone there was there in support of the unions, dressed in red and white in support of Wisconsin state labor unions; these unions range from workers to teachers unions.
The gathering also emphasized the rights of unions in the eyes of the government, both federal and state.
Ed Behan, a spokesperson for MoveOn.Org, stated that people should value unions. He said,"We, as workers, need to realize where our weekends came from."
