BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) -- The St. George Fire Department had a special friend help them out with their Christmas parade this year. That's right, Santa rode with the St. George firemen to help spread the spirit of the season.

More organizations that came out was the Baton Rouge Food Bank, who were accepting donations, and christmas for challenged children brought up the rear to accept christmas gifts that were donated by local folks.

Usually it's just the things that you catch when it comes to parades. But this season, people came out to give and to receive.
