Hundreds of black and gold faithful flocked to New Orleans to see the very first "Lombardi Gras." It was a black and gold parade to rival the largest Mardi Gras celebrations in town. Hours before the festivities even started, Saints fans from all over Who Dat Nation were staking their claim on the best seats in the house.
This is the first parade of it's kind here in New Orleans, but fans say it won't be the last.
When the floats started rolling, the black and gold faithful lined up to catch a few beads from their favorite players, and get a glimpse of that Lombardi trophy.
For most fans, today was a chance to say "thank you" the best way they know how...by showing up to support their team. One thing is for certain, this is one parade the Big Easy will never forget
