BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) -- When police responded to the call about a man being shot inside his home, they didn’t anticipate having to arrest the victim.

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are actively looking for any information on the whereabouts of Jarrett Stanley, 27, and Latonya Wright, 26.

Detectives say they found 164 grams of marijuana, a stolen .40 caliber pistol, and baggies for drug distribution inside Stanley’s home. This was all discovered after Stanley had been taken to the hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound that was inflicted during a home robbery

Officials say Stanley lived at a house on Oaklan Street in Baton Rouge with his girlfriend, Latonya Wright. Neither have been seen since Stanley was released from the hospital the day after the shooting.

If you have any information regarding these individuals, contact the Narcotics Division at (225) 389-3914.
