RAW VIDEO: Major Crash on I-10 Near LaPlace

State Police are on the scene of a major traffic accident involving 2 18-wheelers in the Eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near LaPlace. State Police tell NBC33 News a truck, fully loaded with sulphuric acid, was stalled on the shoulder of the LaPlace bridge when it was side-swiped by another 18-wheeler.

Eastbound lanes are shut down from Gramercy to LaPlace. State Police are asking drivers to avoid this area. At this point - it's not clear how long it'll take to get the mess cleared up.
