(Baton Rouge)- Radio host Kidd Kraddick may no longer be with us, but his charity lives on.

Today is Raising Cane's third annual "Kidd's Kids Dine-in Day." All current or former Kidd's Kids are invited to stop in today at any Raising Cane's restaurant with their families to receive a free chicken finger meal. Raising Cane's says that it's a privilege to give back to the community with such a wonderful organization.

"Clearly for these terminally ill children and chronically ill children so many things that they would like to do in life are hindered by their families having to pay for all of the medical expenses associated with their illnesses so this is a way that we can reach and give back to the community and help those children that little slice of life that they otherwise wouldn't be able to get," says Raising Cane's General Manager Joey Bronoski.

Raising Cane's founder Todd graves presented a $10,000 check to the Kraddick Foundation this morning to kick off this year's event.
