Pit bull Fundraiser

One group of pitbull lovers tried to change the stigma surrounding the breed.

The Pit Krewe of Louisiana held a fundraiser this weekend.

The goal was to educate the public and show the public that the dogs can be a great companion.

Often times this breed is raised for fights and can become dangerous if not properly cared for.

All the proceeds went to Capital Area Animal Welfare Society.
