BATON ROUGE, La (NBC 33)- The fate of Pastor Ricky Sinclair is now in the hands of the U.S. District Attorney’s Office. U.S. District Attorney Don Cayayoux and his team have to decide what, if any charges, will be filed against the Miracle Place Church pastor.

Sinclair is alleged to have submitted false information to several government agencies in the name of his church and "All the Way House" to gain access to more than three quarters of a million dollars in public funds.

Inspector General Stephen Street, who is involved in the investigation into the pastor, stated “this was deliberate and calculated fraud. Mr. Sinclair enriched himself by repeatedly using his church as a front to cheat public agencies out of hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money.

Sinclair said in a written respose that the allegations against him are untrue. Church administrator Lori Hart would only say, when asked about the allegations, that the church is “trying to use wisdom” and that “God is in control.”
