IBERIA PARISH - Lee Fowler still on the run and facing a string of charges including Second Degree Kidnapping. Deputies say Fowler kept a woman in her car and never let her leave. Deputies says once the victim got away, Fowler also tried to run. We're told when he was in custody at the sheriff's office, Fowler ran away again.

ASSUMPTION PARISH - One person is hurt after a shootout in Plattenville. It happened over the weekend at the intersections of Hwy 308 and spur 70. The Assumption Parish Sheriff says a 36-year-old was standing near a store when he was hit by stray bullets. Three cars were also hit. Police say they found eight rifle casings once the shooting stopped. Now, they're looking for the shooter.

POINTE COUPEE PARISH - A 42-year-old man is dead after a crash in New Roads. It happened just after seven last night. State police say Jimmy Herring, 76, was driving near LA 10 and 420. That's when Herman Weston Jr, 48, was walking across the street and was hit. Troopers don't think alcohol was involved. The investigation is continuing. In the meantime, no charges have been filed.
