BATON ROUGE, La.-(NBC33) — Jefferson Davis - People in Jennings still picking up after Saturday's wild weather. This is a look at some of the storm damage sent in by some of you. Many thinking a tornado swept through the city. The National Weather Service says straight line winds are to blame for the damage. The weather part of a very strong line of storms that flooded homes, dropped hail, and spawned several tornados.
Orleans - Police busier than normal in the French Quarter this Mardi Gras. That's because of the new teen curfew in effect. According to the new ordinance, no one under 16 is allowed in the “Quarter” alone after eight at night. Police say they've arrested 170 people for being out alone. That's 20 percent of all the arrests so far this Mardi Gras.
Saint Martin - Sheriff's deputies are asking for your help to find a wanted man. 56 year old Dennis Keith Castille is wanted for theft over a thousand dollars. Detectives say, Castille may be in the Opelousas or Lawtell area. If you can help find him, call the Saint Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.
East Baton Rouge - An 18 year old is dead after crashing into a tree. State police say it happened early this morning on LA-37 just north of Liberty Road. Police say Angela Robinson lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road. We're told she was not wearing a seat belt. Robinson died at the scene.
