PARISH BY PARISH: Man steals purse from church; missing woman's body found; 18-wheeler crashes Pizza Hut; 45 jobs to Baton Rouge

LOUISIANA (NBC33) — ASSUMPTION PARISH - Deputies say they had to lock this man up after he stole a purse from a choir member in church. Deputies say Lee Barrient Jr. walked into the St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. We're told he prayed then ran off after stealing the purse. He was able to be caught at a nearby house. Everything was returned to the victim. Barrient's charged with purse snatching and criminal damage to property. The sheriff's office says Barrient's under parole supervision for forgery and armed robbery.
ST. TAMMANY PARISH - The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries say they've found the body of a woman in Bogue Chitto River. Kathy Holloway went missing with her husband Alan more than two weeks ago. That's when their boat was found capsized on the river. State officials say it looks like Kathy Holloway drowned, but an official cause of death from the coroner's office. The search for Alan Holloway is still continuing.
RAPIDES PARISH - When you ask for toppings on your pizza, you usually don't expect a tractor-trailor wheel to go with it. Well, some restaurant goers got more than they bargained for Wednesday night. That's because an 18-wheeler that was passing by lost two of its tires and they ended up going through the front window of this Pizza Hut. It happened around 8:00 p.m. last night. The restaurant still had customers. Four people had minor injuries and as you can see it caused a lot of damage to the front of the restaurant. Police have not been able to locate the truck that lost the tires.
EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH - More than forty jobs are on the way to the Capitol City. That as West Sanitation Services moves from Illinois to Baton Rouge. West Sanitation moves and distributes odor control products for commercial and institutional restrooms. The move will bring about 45 direct and indirect jobs. The company's headquarters are also on the move. They'll move from California to Baton Rouge. The company says they'll start making the products in the city next month.
